Hill Towns and Lucca

Lucca, our next 2 night stay in Albergo La Luna, is surrounded by Renaissance walls thick enough to walk and ride bikes on. We walked around the town on the wall, did some shopping, climbed Torre delle Ore for views over the town below. Also has an amphitheater which has been "repurposed" as a public square, with apartments in the old walls and many shops around the base. We ate one meal inside the old amphitheater.
