Europe-Italy-Padua-Eremitani
(Day 2) After visiting Scrovegni Chapel we walked to the nearby Church of the Eremitani to view remains of more frescoes. The church was bombed in WW2 because it was located next to a German headquarters. The church was rebuilt and some work done to frescoes in black and white to fill in missing parts to help the viewer visualize the whole fresco. You can walk through this church at no charge.
