Europe-Italy-Cinque Terre -Levanto-Porto Venere

Our home base for two nights was Levanto. We arrived first in Porto Venere for lunch and exploration. We had a boat ride up the CInque Terre coastline with a final stop in Monterosso. Then took the train into Levanto. We were welcomed to Hotel Primavera with Prosecco and snacks followed by a seafood feast . Day 2 we hiked the trails a bit starting Corniglia to Vernazza, spent time on the beach in Levanto, had limoncello spritzes at the beach and dinner locally. I think the best way to see the villages is by boat as they have become very tourist trappy.
